Alamo, August 18-25. Question.

Hi cats. In town for a week in August, the 18th - 25th. I found $211.00 Grand Total at Alamo during that period for a full size. That's not dreadful but I know I can do better. Any codes, suggestions, secret tips?

I got tired of messing with Alamo (loyal customer) and just rented off Hotwire. Never could get an acceptable answer to why the coupon would not be accepted. Follow all the runle and it still would not accept it. So not worth the hassle to mess around with many longer. Alamo seemed to be always very competitive with pricing but as of late just like everyone else.

I agree Greek that Alamo has become a bit more difficult as of late. I'll check Hotwire and see what I can find. Thank you.

I am coming in to Vegas in September and I always rented from Alamo. Don't know what is going on with their pricing but I have since found a week rental from Hertz for a total price of $130.00 on a Toyota Carolla. Call Hertz they are accomodating.........especially if you are a AAA member.
