Just booked a Fusion for 8 days Jan 15-Jan 23 for 145.90 including taxes. Used Contact ID 7015171 & Coupon AD2359FDF $35 off.

Thanks for the info, maybe prices will start coming down a bit soon. Try also using ID code 7014627, it is a Costco code that seems to bring up slightly lower base rates for me. Fortunately I made my confirmed reservation a couple weeks ago; mid size for $160, standard size for $169 (including all taxes, etc.). For the past week the prices have skyrocketed to well over $100 more for the same cars using the same codes. Glad I have mine locked in. I am still hopeful that the rates will go down before our departure on 12/7.

Badger, I am still getting a better initial rate with 7015309 try it with AD2359FDF and see what you get.

I used an Alamo discount code that Southwest gave me when I book my flight total coest for 5 days was $174 I then signed up for the Alamo insider. Today I got an email from them with discounts through Dec 15. I made a new reservation for same dates and times.Total cost $103 So I now have to reccomend signing up for the Alamo Insider.
