Alamo Codes - Good til 7/31/13

I came across the following:

upto 20% off and receive $30.00 off a weekly reservation on compact through mid-size.

ID 7015504

Coupon Code: AD2338FDF

Rates are still high, however, keep them in mind when you find the rates have gone down.

Hope some people can save some money from the above.

Diane

I tried both ID 7015504 and coupon code ad2338fdf and both came up invalid for
dates 5/14/13-----5/21/13...could not get it to accept codes. The rates are high but will come down some and codes could save money if they will word?????????????????? As I have mentioned in the past their new site sucks....
Try these Alamo codes. AD63637RM / 7015309 We are leaving for Vegas March 5th through the 12th. I have never seen prices this high! I have tried all companies and have been searching for the past few months hoping they would come down, but not for this week of March. We always rent cars and I am very good about searching prices and always getting in the end a reasonable rate, but these prices are in the $300s. Yikes! When they were in the $200's for a short time, I thought OK they have some movement down, but then they just went up higher again. I am running out of time here to snag a reasonable rate. I have never paid a car rental price higher than the cost of my airline ticket. What is going on besides the nascar race??? HOpe the codes above work for you into May.
Went in to site under google search and it worked. Still very high. Usually rent a full size for a week last trip was in January at $150.41. Was well satisfied. Price that was qouted today was $275.31 total. Will keep checking using the same codes. we have plenty of time. We decided not to take our March trip this year. We are in Las Vegas 6 times every year sometimes make it 7. With air prices and rental prices I can see going to the East Coast AC a few times this year. Sure not the same as LV but that games are the same. March is a little tough weather to be there. Other months we are looking for AC are July and September. As it stands now looks like Jan--May---Oct/Nov in Las Vegas and July and September AC.

I'm checking for 10 days in June, when I always go and can rent a car for less than $200. It's been running $644-$700 for weeks now.
Dollar is the same way, but I played the rate game for a backup plan and instead of renting the car at the airport will pick it up the next day at Treasure Island and return to the airport. At least that price is less than $300 for nine days.
Hopefully prices will come down in the next couple of months.
I wonder, too, what is going on. It's not just Las Vegas; a friend of mine had to pay an outrageous amount for his daughter's car rental in Florida in March.
In a word- collusion.
