Any Car Rental Codes or Great Deals out there?

I am looking for a deal on a one week car rental in Vegas from 1/25-2/1. Any suggestions??

Thanks
Mr & Mrs Lucky
For codes you might try http://www.mousesavers.com/rentalcar.html

For rental car price comparison I use http://www.carrentals.com/

Good Luck!
I usually use Alamo. Use code 430710 for 10% off and a free extra driver (I believe it's a Sam's Club code). Code AD3994JDP gets you $30 off a 5-day or more rental (coupon is from the Alamo website). Try checking Alamo rates later in the evening - I seem to always find lower prices then. Good luck!

Thanks to all who responded. I did end up using the $30 off coupon so I am happy with a mid size for $152 total for the week. After awhile the day to day searching gets to be overwhelming, So finally I can get on to other things...LIKE PACKING!!! Can't wait and thanks again.

Mrs Lucky, you can use both those codes I listed in the same reservation. Corp ID 430710 gets you 10% off the basic rate and a free extra driver. AD3994JDP is a coupon code for 30% off. I don't know if you're familiar with Alamo, but you can almost always get an upgrade with a $5 or $10 tip to the lot attendant. I always reserve a compact or economy (if it's the same price). Usually get a mid-size or larger, no problem. Have a wonderful trip!

I went to the mousesavers site but found that almost all the AVIS coupons require a Saturday night keep. Our trip is Sunday - Friday evening, so unable to use most of them. I prefer AVIS since I get free LDW insurance with my company, but they seem to be more expensive than in the past. Their price has not changed at all for months.

Has anybody had any luck signing up for a full 7-days to use the coupon and weekly rate, but take the car back early (no Sat keep). When I changed my dates to a full week, I noticed a statement about a 4 or 5 day minimum required. Hmmmm, is this giving me a HINT that this strategy will work???

Generally anything over 4 or 5 days qualifies for a weekly rate. However, to also use the coupon you have to meet all the conditions, so most likely they would not honor the coupon in that case.
I have some Avis coupons from the entertainment book that don't require a Sat. night. keep
Try AWD # B790000 and CPN # MUGA225 for $25 off a weekly (5 day min) rental of a intermediate (Group C) or larger. The fine print says proof of membership must be shown at tme of rental but I've never been asked for it or the physical coupon. YMMV
Thanks gamboozler for the Avis discount codes. On my current reservation I noticed that I am already using the coupon code MUGA225 you mentioned, but with my company's AWD #. However, I was unsure of what the coupon value actually was. I am happy to know that it is an extra $25 off my 5 day rental.

I have been checking prices for 2 months and the 5-day rental has not changed 1 penny. I sure was hoping that they would come down some so I could pick up my car at the airport instead of using an off-airport agency.
