Are the Frontier checkin lines always so long?

Arrived about 4:30 AM and there were close to 100 people in line.  Line moved fairly fast but I suspect that some people missed their flights given the additional long line at TSA.  Perhaps it’s a Terminal 3 issue as all my previous filghts were from Terminal 1 and I don’t usually check a bag.  Since Frontier charges more for a carry-on than a checked bag perhaps this contributes to long lines.  Just curious.

I don't know, but my guess would be an unexpected snag that held up the check-in process.  You didn't say what airport, but at 4:30 am such a back up isn't expected.  Computer glitch, personnel shortage, some cog in the wheel.  You mentioned there was a terminal change, which hints at something like that.
