Back-To-Back weekly car rental

We will be in Las Vegas for two weeks. In order to take advantage of a $30.00 off weekly car rental coupon, I am considering a back-to-back car rental. Has anyone ever tried this? Is it worth the extra $30.00 saving to take the car back, turn it in, and then go to the rental desk and pick up next week's car? Or will the car rental company catch this maneuver and cancel the reservation.

I don't think there's anything preventing you from doing it (from the car rental company). You have to ask yourself if it's worth about an hour of your vacation time to deal with doing that (returning, going inside, renting again, selecting a new car, and getting back to your hotel). For some, it may be worth it. For others, it's "just" $30.

I too considered doing that to save some money. In the end - it just wasn't worth it to me to make that extra trip. When I'm sitting in front of the computer it seems like a nice bonus to save a few dollars....and easy too. But truth be told, once I'm in Vegas my days just seem too busy with the things I really want to be doing. When the trip was done - I was glad not to have had the bother.
