BIG Savings on Southwest Today (June 10th)

Thought I would pass it along.

I didn't receive any notification from Southwest via email alerts nor DING! but Southwest is running a big sale right now (June 10th). Not sure which locations are included, nor how long, but many have posted savings from different areas of the country (on another site).

I was able to book nonstop flights for September from BWI to LAS for $140 each way. As of yesterday the fares were running $263 each way for the same flights. Not all flights on all days were included by the majority of were. These are the least expensive flights I have seen around here for several years.

Also used 100 Coke Rewards Points each to save an additional $20 off each of our fares ($10 each way) for an even nicer savings. I had just stumbled upon the Code Rewards savings by accident a few days ago.

I booked yesterday morning pit-las $140 each way they did have one $129 depart pit but I did'nt like the departure time I like to get to las vegas as early as possible.

Nothing new here price wise in Houston.

AGREE. BIG SAVINGS. I found fares just under $150 one way out of Newark to LAS. Also good fares, around $170 one way, out of LGA. Got a one-way fare for $160 non-stop on last flight out from Buffalo on Christmas day for my end of the year trip. Returns on Sunday aren't cheap but they look less than usual. I'm holding off for now buying the return in the hopes of some non-refundable sales coming up from other airlines.

If you are thinking about purchasing, I would do TODAY. I've been playing with dates and segments for about an hour and one fare went up $20 in that time.

Maybe it was an East Coast thing yesterday...........cuz I tried different days/times, and didn't find any better deals. (Thanks again for the headsup Flowers!)

Hopefully the NEXT Sale, will help the rest of us.
