Budget Can't Be Making Any Money on This

I DO hoops.

I've read many stories about how great Alamo is, but I had a horrible exp. and never going back.

You feel the same towards Budget, that I do towards Alamo.

But I have rented from their sister company - National which has been ok

I've never had any trouble with Budget. You wouldn't make a good gambler if you extrapolate from a single experience. If we all committed suicide after a bad day, there'd be none of us left.

The reason the rate is so low is that they gave you the car at their cost for one day. It doesn't cost them much to have one extra car in service. It's like a dozen eggs. It really is impossible to produce an egg for 8 cents. But when there's too many in inventory, they'll sell you a dozen for $1.

Please read my thread on my rental from them. During one rental, I had 3 cars (not counting the one they tried to rent me that wasn't on the lot or the one that they were going to overcharge me for), was overcharged, also had unidentified charges on it, unreturned calls about the charges, disinterested employees at the lot as well as their 800# customer service.

After a rental like that why should I give budget another chance

To continue your egg analogy, if a store sells you a dozen eggs and only one is not broken & then refuses to give you, your $ back would you go back to that store?
