Budget Rate Codes

I just rebooked my $138 reservation for a full size car from 4-14 - 4-19 using Costco codes for $78.24! Codes are:
BCD code - W852802 and coupon code - MUGZ044.

These dates do not include a Saturday night stay so it has been difficult to find good rates.

I used those codes for my May trip and got a price of $108 and change for a pay up from charge. I clicked
to pay now and then the taxes took over and the final price was $173 and change. No thank you Budget.

Used those same codes for an eight day trip in April in a pay up front deal for $176 for a full size. No one else
came close, and I checked everywhere twice a day. I usually use Alamo, not this time! Bob

I'm not a Costco member....has anyone been asked for their card at the counter (or can you check in at a kiosk like Alamo?)?

I had the same experience with these codes for Budget in the last 6 weeks, so I finally booked the $138 rate using a Southwest airlines code. When I went in to see if I could modify that reservation for a better rate using the Costco codes there were no additional charges as there had been before. You might try booking and then modifying your reservation.

crazy....it seems like Budget's site is a little "glitchy". When I just checked again today, they've added the fees on the second page and prices are not as good.

I haven't been, and I use the Costo discounts often.

The problem will come up not at the counter, but down the line after an accident or similar incident where the rental company finds it helpful to point out to an arbitrator, judge, or jury the renter committed fraud in procuring the rental agreement. Things tend to go downhill quickly when the decision maker thinks you're a liar.

I booked a car through budget, good rate of 166.00 using
Costco codes..not a member. Never used Budget before. Never had problem with Alamo with codes. Also went right to the car. You have never been asked for your Costco card?...are lines long... We are coming in on September 1st....all other rentals were 220.00 and above....

I am asked to show Costco or AAA card for car rentals maybe 20% of the time, but I don't recall being asked for my Coscto card by Budget at McCarran. I use Fastbreak so I can bypass the counter. Budget is generally well-staffed at McCarran with reasonable lines, but I suppose peak times (Fridays, Saturday mornings) can be a crush.

Last 10 rentals have been using Costco and never been asked for a membership card - always Fastbreak.
