Budget Rent A Car

Hiya,

Has anyone rented from the Budget rent a car in LV from the airport location? I normally rent from Alamo, but because I found a good deal for a "Budget rent a car", I am thinking of renting from them this upcoming trip in Feb. I assume that I do not get to select my car from the lot like Alamo. Would really appreciate your experiences that you had with Budget.

I have. They're fine. Sometimes their Fastbreak board doesn't work and you have to stop at the garage booth to get a contract. But they're fine.

No, Budget isn't set up to let you pick your car. But if you get to your car and don't like it, I think you could probably switch to one you prefer if you just talk to a booth attendant. Pretty much every car rental company tries to help renters that way.

Know that Budget requires renters who drive less than 75 miles total to show a gas receipt upon return or face a $14 fee. And they're not shy about asking upon return.

I have rented from budget a few times at the airport in LV. they just happened to be the cheapest and everything worked out ok. I cant recall if I got to choose my car or not. but I always book a compact so it really don't matter too much. I will say I am not too crazy about their website.

I have used budget a few times since the had the best price. Be sure to check your contract matches the price in your reservation. I've had some issues with that. But the cars have been fine and no other issues.

Switched to Budget day before I left on 1-12 from Dollar. Rate was $154.00 total on weekly rate for a full size.
Absolutely no problems on pick-up or return...price was right on. Fastbreak worked perfect with car sitting right up front waiting for me. Windows were actually clean.

Used Budget last week . Fastbreak in and out in five minutes with a brand new Camry with 126 miles on it . Cost me $143.00 for the week . A great price and no issues . Bob
