Cab Fare from Airport to Downtown

Can anyone give me a ball-park cab fare from the Airport to Golden Nugget? A limo is $50 + Tip and if the prices are close perhaps a splurge on a little luxury to start my trip next week....

Nice link Bob. I think I might print off the rate chart and hand it to my taxi driver when I get into the taxi at the airport. The look on the drivers face would be great.

I would say that the rates in the link are really best case scenario. I've taken a few cabs downtown (never the tunnel) and they normally run in the high 20's ($27 to $29).

I taken two cabs from the Four Queens to the airport in the last two years. Both ran about $30 plus tip.

We taxi back most of the time from MSS at about midnight. The fare is just over 30 dollars and there is hardly any traffic. The driver uses the Freeway and then exit on Tropicana. It costs about 5 dollars extra tunneling. Coming from the airport, you have to add that airport pick up fee.

There was only one time the driver used Main Street, crossed over to Paradise by the Stratosphere. The fare was just over 25 dollars.

I just learned about the WAX (Westcliff Airport Express) bus that runs from the airport to downtown for $2 and takes under a half hour. You can't beat that rate!

I have taken the WAX my last three trips. It is great.

Where do you catch this bus and does it only go downtown or does it stop on the strip?
