Cabbing it from airport to Caesars

I will be rental carless for the first time when I head to LV in September. I am usually pretty good about getting the cab drivers to go the shortest route. However, I am not sure what that is in this case. Do I want them to go in the back way from Industrial and swing past the Forum Valet up to the top or do we try and come in from the Strip, which is closer to the hotel valet? Would appreciate all advice. In fact, should I just go ahead and take a shuttle instead of a cab since I am alone? Thanks from Kansas City, the hottest place on earth this week.
We like the shuttle OK (one price) but they unload you in kind of an inconvenient walk to Caesars front door. Not really bad, but we got spoiled when they used to take us to the Augustus tower entrance. Now for some reason they haven't been willing to do that, even with an up front tip!

Plus, if you are in a hurry to get there, you never know if you will be the first one dropped off or the last one. Not usually an issue for us, but for some reason it seems they often go everywhere else before hitting Caesars.

Sorry, I don't know where the taxi drop off options are.
The quickest route to Caesar's from the airport is Paradise to Flamingo to LV Blvd but sometimes Flamingo from Koval to Las Vegas Blvd is backed up and being that taxis charge for time, it may run up the meter.

Larry (Limo driver) from Las Vegas
Thanks all. The last time I used the shuttle, they forgot to come get me on my last day. and yes, I had called to reconfirm, as they require. That was nerve wracking! Larry, I think that's the way I would go, too. Thanks. Maybe I should just call your limo!!!!

If you have TR comp $, just book a Limo thru CE. Its charged to your room, and gets
paid off with TR comps when you check out. Just tip the driver.

THATS the way to arrive in style at Caesars!
