Car Rental Discount Codes

Haven't been to Vegas since 2016.  We always rented from Dollar and used their city special code option that automatically came up when booking.  Haven't rented a car since then either and their website is different and no longer has the city special option.  Anyone have any discount codes for Dollar or other rental companies?  We are going the week of July 13.

Try Autoslash - they seem to always have the best rates. I keep checking back, you can do this every 6 hours without having to re enter your original info. Also, they price several rental companies at once. If you don't find a rate to your liking, keep checking back. I find that if you check back 5-7 days before your trip the rates will be at their lowest. If nothing else, it is a good place to go to get an idea as to what rates you will be offered.

If you have a Costco membership, they have great rental car pricing on their website.

They do still have city specials, for me they show up on my laptop but not my IPhone.  Since your last trip prices have been high as mergers have stopped competitors from deep discounts.

Thanks everyone.  I will check out Autoslash.  I don't have a Costco membership.  I was on my laptop when on the Dollar website.  Will check it out again too.

I was just on Dollar checking for myself and city specials showed, extremely high and doesn't help Hertz bought them and Thrifty and is now in bankrupcy.

Hertz is also filing for bankruptcy.

Costco memberships are now vaildated when you book using those codes...for years they did not which meant non-Costco members could easily use their code.

I've had the most luck booking through Southwest's website in combination with coupon codes I Googled for.    If you fly with SOuthwest to Vegas they seem to get you a healthy discount on rental cars.

But as always - you save the most money by checking rates every day and cancelling/rebooking your car-reservation as prices fluctuate

I finally did see the city special on Dollar website and I am traveling Southwest so checked them and Autoslash.  Rates are just high at the moment.  Hope they come down by July.

Glad you saw them and we're trying for July also.  Even Hotwire is very high. Hope since Vegas is opening up the price comes down.
