Car rental Rates

I have a forthcoming trip in 2 weeks and I have been checking car renal rates daily. Rates are very high with Kayak, Priceline and Fox. I have found a site that is cheaper than all of them. Here is the site. --https://www.liligo.com/cars/sc.jsp#/car/results

I agree. Awful. My son gets a flat rate though week. Costco way up in price. I will check your link.Just be

careful about add on fee.

Supply and demand.  It'll calm in a few years.

You're familiar with Autoslash I'm sure. You might take a look at their coupon site :

https://www.autoslash.com/coupons

Also, there's a relatively new ( I guess?) rental agency called Easirent that has a double shuttle from the car rental center ( as does Fox and several others). They look as if they're trying to compete/ get their rental car foot in the door in Las Vegas. I've never personally used them so have no details about service or other potentially important issues. You might peruse review sites, too; I looked at a couple of those and their rankings are not very good at all. But, the cars are cheaper .

I used to rely on and use AutoSlash all the time, but the last few months I have found better rates with Kayak, Fox , Priceline and now liligo.com --- Easirent is located in the same area as Fox and Ace, but the online comments say do not rent with them. Apparently they are short handed and the employees are too busy tending to their cell phones - so say the comments.

I have retreated to renting 24 hours from a hotel-site location these days. The rental days are expensive, but airport rentals aren't significantly cheaper, and driving is frankly a pain in the ass since the F1 construction and re-routing. Instead of renting-as-a-treat, it's become onerous.

Just got back from a 6 day trip with fox for 164 total.  Nice midsize with only 1200 miles on it

Nice, I am going this weekend and the total is 228 for 4 days through Budget for a 'Elantra or similar'.  For Vegas I think this is a decent rate, I've paid a lot more during March Madness even getting it locked in 4 months in advance.

For what it is worth - I have just booked a car for $ 296.00 for 13 days, average cost per day being $22.75. The site I am using lately is -   liligo.com/car-rental las vegas airport - I have found that they have the best rates.

Since Breeze Airways is beginning service to LAS from here in January, this is good information to know.
