What is going on here. I realize fuel prices are up but you can fly from Pit through Cle on to Las for $110 less. Does anyone know of any good fares or ideas out of Cle besides Pit. Cak not any better.
Are you looking at the airline site or using Priceline or other travel site? I have gotten lucky in the past year by using the Contiental site. Have never gotten any deals through cak always higher with several stops.
Checking many different places. I have gotten one stops out of Cak for much less then Cle in the past. Prefer the non stops put of Cle. Recent prices over 400. I really got spoiled paying under 250.
I know what you are saying. I don't think things will get better anytime soon. Columbus and Detroit have some very cheap rates but by the time you figure in turnpike tolls and gas prices not to mention the drive time you are not saving anything.
We have used columbus a few times but that was long ago. I will have to check that out again. These Cleveland flights at over 450 are really getting out of hand. This will surely curtail my trips from 4 or 5 a year to maybe 2 or 3. I will really miss Vegas but this is getting out of hand. Maybe we will get some playable Video Poker in ohio when the new resorts open.
The only reason I have three trips planned this year is cause I have air miles and a travel voucher if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be going. The plus thing with the casinos coming to Oh is we will have one downtown (Harrahs) and two other ones a couple hours away which will be Penn National. So lets hope there is good vp between the 3 of them. But it still won't be Vegas
