Costco car rent

Has anyone used them? I was looking for July and they seemed higher than going through the companies themselves. I thought they might get a better rate.

I have used them several times and they have ALWAYS been cheaper. Not sure why they are more. I love them because you get an added driver at no cost.

They were much higher, I was surprised.

Probably used them at least 25 times and they were always less than the individual sites. Occasionally I have used their codes on the actual site with no problem. But they are not always the cheapest, so I always check the Dollar, Alamo and Budget sites on a daily basis. Still working on the July trip where everyone is over the top.

Keep checking back---Costco is the only way I go---and the prices change very often----I just cancel and re book the lower rate-----
I have a rental today that since January booking has dropped @$85.00 for a 4 day rental---just be patient----and good luck

They are usually always cheaper than other the sites. I'm looking for the weekend of the 4th and the rates are sill really high.

I reserved a luxury car last month from Budget thru Costco. The price for four days was $245. Today I checked the price on the Budget website. I'm three days away from the rental date and the price was $560.

I've been monitoring Costco for the last 6 weeks (daily) on my July trip and the amount has not changed one cent at $342.20. Its like they stopped monitoring the individual web sites.
I've got 2 booking thru car rental savers for Budget at $242.12 and Firefly at $128.19 (+ 20 cents a mile over 30). Figure Firefly at $168 with 200 miles (always less than 200) but the comments on them are not great, so I'm still looking.
Certainly not impressed with Costco this time around although I've used them for my Oct trip and have a Budget full size for $174.47.

Occasionally AAA has good rates.
