Currant RTC rates

I will be in Vegas September 5-10. According to the RTC website, they have new rates going into effect on September 11th. The website is only showing the new rates. Does anybody know what the currant rate is for a 5 day pass and will that allow you to ride the Deuce?

There is no 5 day pass that includes the Deuce. The rates you're seeing in the lower portion of the page at RTC's site are current now.
Thanks for the post. Now all I have to do is figure out what is the best route to get to downtwon without taking the Duece. I am thinking the 108 to the new Transit Center and then either walking or taking the 113 to Fremont St. Any thoughts?

Have you considered the SDX (Strip-Downtown Express)? Fewer stops on the Strip, so you have to watch at whcih bus stop you catch it, but it is much quicker that the Deuce. I'm not sure where you will be located, but if you are at the NYNY/Trop corner or anywhere near there, you could catch the WAX at the NYNY stop and it flies DT because it hits the Interstate at Trop/I-15 and heads DT. Just a couple of thoughts.

The best route from NYNY to downtown is, without question, the new Westcliff Airport Express. Leaves only hourly, but runs from NYNY to Fitzgeralds in just 18 minutes, all for just $2.
Todd, Chilcoot is right, no 5-day passes. There are 72hr passes, though; $15 for all routes except Deuce and SDX (both downtown-to-strip routes) and $20 to include those two routes. You have to buy the passes at ticket vending machines, which are at most major stops.

Chilcoot is right, the WAX is a great way to get from either the airport or from Las Vegas and Tropicana to downtown--it's an express, takes the Interstate, $2 for a single ride or $3 for a 2hr pass or $5 for a 24hr pass (all available on the bus), or $15 for the 72hr pass as above.

Where will you be coming from when you go downtown?
