discount Southwest gift cards at COSTCO

I found a couple of used SWA gift cards I hadn't bothered to cut up yet.  I just looked all over the cards and all over the cardboard things they come mounted on.  No expiration date.  "Not replaceable if lost, stolen or destroyed.  Protect the card like cash."   There is a number to call for the balance.  If you go to Southwest.com and click on "Terms and Conditions, then click  on "Southwest gift card"  it says there is no expiration date for a SWA gift card.

For those that follow deals at Costco, this SW $500 gift card for $450 is a non event.   That price is in effect for at least half of the year, for at least the past 3 years, and can be purchased online in the form of e-gift cards.  They eventually sell out and disappear for a while, and then few weeks later, another batch gets put on sale "while supplies last".  I don't know if I've ever seen them selling for full price, $500 for a $500 card at Costco, ever.  The real deal is the occasional $500 for $430 deal which runs about 3-4 weeks a year.
