Dollar Lock Low 'n Go

Interested in hearing others' experiences with this in LV. I've done it a couple of times in the past but received PT Cruisers so gave it up (seems to me that LLnG used to be mid-size and above and they considered a PT Cruiser to be mid-sized). The current prices for the period I'm looking for show the economy prices to be the best - is it still true that LV Dollar doesn't carry economy cars so you get a compact anyway? If so, the LLnG price, which guarantees a compact or better (most likely a compact, right?) isn't such a good deal.

Last time they gave me a choice between a Ford Explorer or a full size car - I don't remember which model.
I always use Dollar because of Dollar Express - it would pay extra for that service but it is free.

I've used it in the past and always got a smaller suv last time they gave me a crap hundai and an attitude. I've been using Alamo since and get better service and prices and with a tip usually get to pick what I want.

Dollar saw I was a Dollar Express member (joining is free) and they gave me a Crown Victoria. I'm used to booking a Hyundai, so this was a pleasant surprise.
