Dollar Rent A Car 10% Discount Good Through 12/31/2014

Hi Group,

I'm now noticing that in the What's On: The Las Vegas Guide magazine of March 3-9, 2014, there is an ad about Dollar offering a 10% Discount off of their "Already Low Rates!"

What you need to do to get this discount is to mention "Corporate Discount #CC1191." And so for reservations, go to: https://www.dollar.com or call 1-800-800-4000. It is for two locations -- McCarran Rental Car Center and 4775 Swenson Street in Las Vegas.

RecVPPlayer--thank you for the information on Dallar. I reserved for 10/28---11/4 $190.72. Not quite as good as Total Rewards for rentals in March and coming up again in May for $108.24 but satisfied with the $190.72. Total Rewards had an offer and it was for the $108.24 but there were not taxes added on and they honored it at Thrifty. Again thanks for the Dollar info if price drops I can always go back and cancel and reserve again.

Can you use the discount in addition to their "City Special" discounts??

Champster: Apparently Not. I just tried the code on our two week trip using the code and the price is much higher than the "city Special" and I did not see anywhere I could insert the 10% Discount using the "city special" pricing-- IN OTHER WORDS-- Dollar says "GOTCHE"

Although I don't have the ad in front of me now, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they did not allow people to combine one discount with another discount. I'll get back to you if I find out otherwise.

Well with Airfares the way they are way up and rental cars prices increasing this I felt was a good deal. If it comes down I can always rebook. We have no problems with RFB. We visit 6/7 times a year out of Pittsburgh and prices increase no matter what. Now we have seen Jubilee several times over the years but have not seen the new set. We are shopping for tickets for our May trip. We are already booked to see the Rat Pack and need one more night away from the machines and the tables for a few hours. Again thanks for your information on the rental car.

I did take a look at the ad again and it did say that this is not combinable with any other offer or promotion. And so in your instance, you would have the choice between taking advantage of either the "City Special" discounts or this promotion.
