Dollar Update

Rented from Dollar on last weeks trip and had probs with them. First, wouldn't honor the upgrade certificate (said they were sold out). Second, the interior windows were not clean (noticed soon as we got into the sun). Third, they charged me $10 more than the reservation.
Back to Budget from now on, never have problems with them.

Haven't used Dollar for quite some time. Our last trip, May 2013, I used Budget for the 1st time. Paid before my trip and saved quite a bit of money. They had trouble with my Costco Codes, but eventually cleared everything up. Returning in November and hope to get some kind of a deal.

What kind of trouble with the Costco codes..

For years Dollar has charged $10 more then your booking. I tied fighting it and could never win.

I still love Dollar Xpress - and have a smoking deal for September and an OK deal for December (should come down later)
I have never been overcharged $10.00, but if they did it wouldn't bother me anywhere as near as some ahole cab driver long-hauling me which tended to happen all the time when I took cabs - even though I always made a point of telling the driver that I had been visiting 4 - 6 times a year for 15 years - they would STILL try and tunnel us!

Sorry for the delayed answer. The problems Budget had with the Costco codes were; they were not in their system at Vegas.

What codes does Dollar have for September. We are arriving Sunday September 1st to Friday the 6th, so no Saturday night stay. Any help with Dollar or Alamo is appreciated. I have reserved Budget but like Dollar and Alamo better.
