Downtown to airport via city bus

I was at El Cortez and needing to get to a bus going to the airport. Because that is the most Frugal Way to travel. The route maps are very confusing. Is there an easy way to find which bus and where it stops near Freemont Street? The walk from El C to the Bonneville Sta was not that much fun at 100 degrees F and the area was not that friendly looking.

If you are a hotel guest at El Cortez, the most frugal way to travel is to ride their free shuttle to the airport. It leaves hourly in morning and afternoon hours. A good tip is warranted.

The best public bus option is called Centennial Express. While it does stop at the Bonneville Transit Center, El Cortez guests can board at Casino Center and Fremont, right alongside Binion's.

I used the Centennial Express in March & it was $2 one way to and from Downtown.  Not sure if the fare has gone up or not.  You pay on the bus.

The CX from downtown....stop 5461 on the Binion's Casino side (Casino Center & Fremont) first to Terminal 1 then 3. The RTC app is very user friendly says this 75 year old. I have used the bus since rental rates got so high after Covid. I noticed rental car rates have gotten lower, but the parking $$$$$ makes the bus my option. Ridding the bus does have its characters....kind of like the old time Binion's cafe and the $ 2 steak!

For years we have used the bus system all over town.  But, the CX from/to DT is very simple--once you know where to pick it up.   George has it right, and we are 77 years old.  As a friend once told us when we were first venturing into the bus system--it's cheap, it's reliable, and it's entertaining!  Get on at Binions/Fremont Casinos, exit at first stop at the airport which is zero level.
