fabulous Alamo rate

Rate Code AA3-what/where is that from? I have never seen a Rate Code before-had to look at the reservation form to even see where is was on there!

eh, coupon expires before my trip. Is it one those one's from the Alamo website? I'll probably have to wait til about a month before my trip to try those out.

We need a car from 3/6/12---3/13/12 and I just visited the alamo stite and the coupon expires 3/4/12. I put in a full size no coupon an it comes up $50605 just last month we rented the same car 1/17/12--1/24/12 and total was $122.65. Will they wait until the last week before they update coupon. We usually rent from Alamo but not hardly at this price.

For anyone who is still looking for a better deal I just found this one on retailmenot.com - contract ID #7015379 with coupon code AD7893SDX. Minimum 5 day rental including a Saturday night, good through 06-30. It does give the standard "may be required to be presented" wording, and it doesn't include an extra driver. The comments from people who've used it say it's from entertainment.com.

March 6-13 includes NASCAR weekend, so that may be why rates are so high for that time period.

I'm thinking that maybe today (Feb. 4) is a bad day to shop for cars, so maybe I'll try again tonight or tomorrow.
