Fox location

Have rented at McCarron however never off of Fox. I noticed they are not in the main facility. Where are they located? About how far from main terminal are they. Are they open 24 hours or do they have fixed hours. We have an early return flight. We have rented off of Sixt and there is a taxi stand #4 you have to go to and they ride you across the street. Really like the main terminal but there is a $70 savings with Fox.
Ended up renting off of Fox the pricing was decent. Usually rent at the main facility but prices were high. Much higher.
Rented this morning and like you mentioned I was ask about the insurance. I got a follow-up calll this has never happened before from other companies asking me if I over looked insurance offer.
Are you saying that they called you while you had possession of the rental car? Wow... that indeed is a first.

No a guy called about 4 hours later after the rental. It starts out by him Thanking you for choosing Fox Rental and starts right in on the sales pitch about things that are not covered. Then to make it real funny he kept telling me all the disadvantages you have with your individual insurance and lack of coverage. I always use my American Express Card and purchase insurance for $24.95. Well they only took Visa and master Card at the time I rented. AE insurance covers you up to like 24 days of protection. But you have to use the AE Card at time of rental. I have heard in the past the rental car company takes your credit card and tell you nothing will be charged to it. SURE!!! Well from what I have heard was that the rental company maxs out your credit card in case of accident. Then it is between you and your insurance company to settle. My insurance carrier (I use to play golf with my agent) says I have coverage but hell it like any other insurance you never find out the facts until you really have to use it. Who knows!!!! I have heard before the rental that Fox pressures you at time of pick-up. I really don't need this BS.
Does anyone with insurance on their personal car double up with insurance from a car rental agency? I thought this was for people without cars that need insurance on the rental. I always decline. I think the most important part is to take pictures of the 4 corners of the car just prior to car return.

Fox experience the lot is like pulling luggage across a gravel pit almost pulls shoulders out. 1st car they tell you to go around and check for damage and then sign off. My wife noticed a chip the size of a dime under the wiper I called it to the attendant attention and he actually spit on his finger and tried to wipe it out--they offered another car 15 minutes or a little longer wait. This car had more scratches and dents on both bumper attendant just marked the entire area as I requested---car had +62,890 miles---as far as the insurance I received three phone calls after car was rented asking if I overlooked the insurance offer---2 emails from Fox asking about insurance and the best one was at the counter the guy ask me about roadside assistance insurance in case of flat or breakdown I declined all. Getting to the place not bad just a hassle pulling luggage to stand #4 and then pulling it to the rental car. Car ran decent not problems checking out or checking in. However this will be the last rental off of the main facility. Sticking with Dollar---Thrifty--or Alamo we like them the best. A little more but less hassle...
I would guess that fox is for first-timers only, and vegas has plenty of those. they probably don't see a lot of repeat customers.
To tell you the truth we visit Las Vegas 6 times a year and should have known cheaper rates means sometimes giving something up--like a nice pick-up area---simple transfer of customers---newer cars--follow up phone calls and emails on insurance and so on. It worth a try once and then you make a decision on your own just not our cup of tea. As you said one time is sometimes the only time....
Not worth it, we arrived around midnight and took that 2nd shuttle then faced a yes 45 minute wait. They are big on the upswell as well.
