I just got back from Vegas and used Fox to rent a car while there (I've also used them to rent a car in Los Angeles). I didn't need to show proof of insurance and the car I got was great, as was the price, $30 for a full day. Location is a bit of an issue in Vegas especially if you don't know about it in advance. As was specified before me, Fox does not do business from the Rental Car Center. They have their own lot further south just off of Las Vegas Blvd. So you take a shuttle to the rental center, then you stay outside and look for the pick up area for the Fox shuttle. Their lot is about a 5 minute drive from the rental center. When we arrived, there was a 20 - 25 minute wait before we got to the counter. They did have 4 agents working, and 2 more arrived just as we got to toward the front of the line. A manager came out and thanked everyone for being so patient. While it didn't make the line move faster, I was pleased that she came out and spoke to us. My perception was that they had a couple of agents tied up with renters who hadn't made reservations or didn't know what they wanted to rent (one group of 3 were at the counter when we arrived and left just before we got to the front of the line). My agent had me out in less than 5 minutes. I would recommend them as long as you understand that you sacrifice convenience for a cheaper rate.
