Fox rental info

I am thinking of renting with Fox to save money on the absurd rental car rental pricing. I would appreciate any info that previous Fox rental car users could convey concerning the additional time necessitated by taking the second shuttle to Fox's site from the car rental center. Also, does Fox try to hard sell the insurance and gas add ons? And would you previous Fox rental users rent from Fox again? Thanks...
We rented from them once several years ago when they first came on the scene and said we never would again. They may have changed maybe someone with a more recent rental can chime in. We always come to Vegas Memorial week so it is a more busy than usual time. When we rented the wait time for the second shuttle was long 20-30 minutes if I remember right (I believe they were slow because the rental facility was so backed up), when we arrived at the rental facility long line and an hour long wait to get a high mile POS car rental. The employees were stressed because everyone was bitchy about the wait times. We were overly concerned on return day due to our experience on arrival day that we showed up 1 hour earlier than the recommended time but didn't need to return went smoothly and back to the rental facility very quickly.
Thanks to those who PM'd me and to full-monte-carlo for your info. I am still on the fence about renting with FOX...
I use them extensively, both in Las Vegas and Orange County where i live. When i need a rental car, i check daily beginning about a month in advance. Their rates are erratic, up and down and standard cars will be.less expensive than compact.cars on some days. I just returned a car in Orange County that I had for three days at a rate of less than $6/day which showed only one day on their website. I don't find them any more aggressive than any of the others. I think they started out that way but realized they simply lost customers. My worst experience with sales aggression was at a Dollar counter a.few years ago. One thing, they are slow! I watch them stare at a computer screen like they expect something to jump out. What r u looking at? All the information is right in front of you! You definitely have to allow extra time as there can be a long line at their facility when you get there. I am in Las Vegas often and don't get impatient as their rates are worth waiting a bit for. I have not had problems with their shuttles that I can recall, always have had them right there. I also practice Jean Scott's admonition to 'be nice'. One thing I have a problem with is their website is not compatible with my phone which I use mostly for reservations and is annoying so i usually use Kayak or Travelocity. The rates are always the same when I check on a desk top computer. I belong to the express clubs of all the big boy rental agencies but will still wait in line for Fox's lower rates. I don't pay attention to mileage on a car, don't care if it's 5,000 or 25,000, as long as it's clean and runs well. Never had an operation problem. In the beginning, had a few smell like cigarette smoke but that hasn't happened in a long time. I always let them know if that occurs. I once returned a car that had a tiny dent where a rock flew up and hit the fender. I remembered the sound when it happened. They told me they had to report any dents larger than a quarter, and it was just about that size. I thought, oh boy, here it comes! I never heard from them. All in all, I guess it depends on your patience quotient because it does take longer to use them. For me, that's okay.

I rented a Ford Focus from Fox, 4/14-4/21, and had no problems with the car or their service, except for one minor glitch upon return (their printer at the return booth wasn't working so he could not print out a return receipt, but I asked them to hand-write a receipt, which was done, and he also e-mailed a receipt to me). They tried to sell the extra insurance and fueling options, like all of the rental companies, but I would not call it a "hard" sell. I simply declined and that was that, no additional pressure. Their rate ($184 total for the week) was much lower than any others and was exactly as quoted.

In Las Vegas, you have to figure about 20 minutes extra for your return time, due the extra shuttle from their lot to the main rental terminal, but it was worth it for the savings. Also, there is a convenience store/gas station right across the road from the Fox lot, with reasonable prices, so fueling up before returning is a snap.

I would certainly rent from them again.
i've used them with no problems. The shuttle is at the rental car facility and only takes a few mintes. it's very close to South Point and that's where we stay so it was on the way.
