free Laughlin bus

Last year we rented from Budget Car Rental at the Golden Nugget (Downtown). Picked the car up at 730 am and drove to Laughlin. Had a great time, they still cater to the older gamblers..The road is a quick shot to get there..Free Parking at the Casinos, pretty steep walking between Casinos..Hard to make em all in one day..Got the car back about 11pm..Had a great time and won some money..

Hey, Rec, that's a very good thought. I checked, the bus runs to Bullhead City, direct route is only $18 each way. Thanks!

You're very welcome, Jon (and Group)! I figured that Greyhound was worth a try!

Does the Greyhound take passengers across the river to Laughlin?
Hi, Candy. I haven't researched it much, looks like Bullhead City is the only stop, but I bet it's a piece of cake to get to Laughlin from there. I think a lot of the casinos have shuttles, at least from the airport.
I'm not aware of any such shuttles, but depending on where in Bullhead you get dropped off,the water taxi services both sides of the river.

There is a free boat that goes from the river side of Bullhead city to the Laughlin side and back. Not sure about getting from the Greyhound station to the river crossing boat. The river crossing boat is free (sans toke) and the guy totally flies back and forth. I believe big wig Don Laughlin (built the bridge and expanded the airport) picks up the tab. You will only wait a minute or two as this guy works for tokes! Of course the boat lands at Don's resort The Riverside.

P.S. Thanks RecVPPlayer I checked Greyhound and never thought to check Bullhead City. Stupid me focused in to only Laughlin. Thanks for the expanded enlightenment!

You're very welcome, Slabow! I'm happy to have helped you all although part of the credit on this needs to go to jstewa22 who did a little further digging on this and found about the Greyhound bus going to Bullhead City!

I had figured that it was likely that Greyhound probably went somewhere in that general direction since they go to Las Vegas (and at least in the past have had "Casino Special" bus programs)!

Sorry to partially hijack this, but this should be a reminder to the group that some savings might be found by going to Rental Car Places in Downtown LV Casinos instead of paying the airport rates.
