Getting around without a car

I like to have a few drinks in Las Vegas. I don't drink and drive.
I don't drive (never have) so that makes the decision easy. Unless you're palnning to visit the Grand Canyon or someplace, or trekking to the far-flung casinos like like anything Stations, it's really not a hassle not having a car. Even Sam's Town has hourly buses to three different spots around town to make things convenient. I always change hotels during my trip so it's no problem experiencing different parts of the city.

Westcliff Airport Express is indeed great, but realize that, for most of the day, it only runs every 50-60 minutes or so (two additional runs are added during morning and afternoon rush), and never "every 20 minutes".
I love having a car, as we do many side trips and like the locals casinos. I do, however, stress about damage to the rental while I have it. I am fully covered by my insurance and southwest credit card, but I still worry about it, and that puts a damper on my trip.

Be sure to ask your insurance company who pays the Rental Car company for loss of use and down time while the car is being repaired. Also ask about who pays for the overall decrease in value of the vehicle after an accident ie: diminutive value. https://www.creditcards.com/credit-card-news/rental-car-credit-card-protections-vary-1273.php
