Getting to Mandalay Bay

We'll be in Vegas the end of September and are attending the last day of the Barrett-Jackson Auction at MB. We're staying at M during that time and are renting a car. Neither of us are very comfortable driving in Strip traffic and are wondering if it would be easier to get to MB by car or would we do better to take the M shuttle to the Fashion Show Mall and either cab or ride the monorail to the other end of the Strip? If by car, how?

Drive for sure Mandalay Bay is at the very end of the strip and traffic is really not bad. I would take I-15 from M and get off at Russell Road.
I went to Barret Jackson last year at MB. Park in the rear parking garage or Valet and it is not a bad walk to the arena. Taking the shuttle
would be a pain in my opinion.

I'd just shoot straight up LVB. If the auction is in the Convention Area, the front valet parking is a loonngg walk.
