Great rates over Memorial Day weekend.

Just checked and got a Corolla for $62 for four days with Advantage. Fox was under $50 for the same period, but I don't use them. My previous, now canceled, reservation was $97 with Dollar.

Does that $62 include tax etc? I got a midsize from Thrifty for $94 with TT&L. Good price but not $62.

Includes everything. Its from CarRentals.com Sunday May 29-Thursday the 2nd. Originally I was looking at returning on Friday, but then it was $120 total.
Just checked and it's now $68.50 as of 12:32 Weds morning. It's $7.50 day plus plus.

Great price, especially midweek. Mine is the weekend rate or it would be considerably higher.

Just got a 9 day rental including Memorial Day weekend for $8.12 per day before taxes and fees for a midsize. Weird thing is the taxes and fees are $8.97 a day...paying more in fees per day than for the car! Second rebook in 2 days, prices are dropping fast.

Alamo prices just keep dropping. Down to $107 bottom line for 23rd through 31st. Used the 7015820 contract code with the $40 insider coupon. It's dropped twice today already, was $118 last night! It pays to keep checking! Two weeks ago the best was $189 with Fox.
I wish we could do the same thing with plane fares. I better shut up or the car rental outfits may learn from the airlines.

Using that code I got my down to $95 for the week of 5-21st thru 28th. I started out a month ago at $170.
