Greyhound Restores Its Express Service from LA to Vegas

So says this story in Vegasinc:

"[Greyhound] will offer five daily express buses to Los Angeles with departures at 5 a.m., 8:40 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 5:10 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Return trips leave Los Angeles at 12:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 3 p.m. and 10:45 p.m.

The trip takes about five hours.

Buses will have free WiFi and reserved seating. Ticket prices range from $25 to $67.50 one way, with a limited number of discounted tickets offered for $1."

Seems like a plausible alternative for people who live reasonably close to the Greyhound Station in LA.

I wonder what you get for $67.50 that you don't get for $25?

From what I'm understanding about this from a conversation that I had with a Greyhound person, it can be $25 One Way and $50 Round Trip between Downtown Los Angeles and Downtown LV and the earlier you make your reservations for this, the lower a cost it can be. I asked (on Wednesday evening 11/7) about the trip this coming Sunday and was told that if I wanted to buy the ticket immediately, it would be $19 One Way and $38 Round Trip and on the day of the trip it can be $59.50 One Way and $115 Round Trip or you can ask for the Casino Special which makes stops and can be (at least between LA-LV depending on when you leave) anywhere from as little as 5 Hours (leaving on the 12:30AM bus which arrives at 5:30AM) to as long as 7 Hours and 50 Minutes in the early morning or 7 Hours and 20 Minutes in the afternoon and it costs $57 Round Trip from Downtown LA.

So it's an interesting option to have.

I do occasionally take Greyhound if I can't get anyone to go with me when I want to go. And the Downtown LV station is very convenient to where I vastly stay at Plaza Hotel/Casino.
