Harrah's to downtown and back by cab?

Most of the time it's because of an accident at the Sahara exit which is a multiple daily occurrence due to the design of the roadway. From the Airport - Paradise to Las Vegas Blvd and then either the Boulevard or 4th Street to Downtown are your best bets. That's the way most limos do it at that time of day. In the middle of the day there are also entrance ramp lights onto I-15 which only allow one car on per light so that will slow you up.

Larry (Limo driver) from Las Vegas

That's the way I go if I'm staying at LVH.
About a 10-minute ride from there.

I never stay at Harrah's so I'm not sure.
Probably would get down to Paradise from there and then proceed the same path as
when I stay at LVH.

15 is OK IF there is no traffic. LOL
If I bring my crystal ball with me
that would help me know when that is.

BTW, I'm starting to rent SUV's these days
due to all the crazy drivers in LV.

It's like boats, the bigger they are the better
you fare in a collision. Anyway, I hope that's the way it works.

I'd avoid the freeway, and take Paradise or Swenson up to around Twain and then shoot over to Maryland Parkway. you are adding about a mile to the trip but its faster. If cost is paramount, I'd take Paradise.

In your original post, you said you were sure the freeway would not be the way to go. People disagreed with you.

So now you are making another assumption, this time about cab fare. If you're so sure about your answers, why are you asking?

I would not assume the freeway would not be the cheapest fare going to the airport at 4:30 in the morning. There will be no traffic at that hour. It could be the best route to take. If I were driving, that's certainly the way I'd go.

Keith, when in Vegas, the wife and I tend to overindulge in cocktails. For that reason, we prefer to take cabs.
