Jan. MKELAS airfare drop

I've been trying to book an early January trip from Milwaukee to LAS for the last four months. The airfare has been sky high (no pun intended). I've been getting $500 plus to a low of $380 on almost a daily basis. Yesterday I noticed Southwest had dropped to $320 so I checked the ITA software site for other airlines (Southwest is not listed on ITA), and I wound up booking Delta for $264 (1/7-1/12) with one hour connections through Minneapolis. That's a $40 better price than I got for essentially the same dates last year.
