Limo with scooter

A friend has a trip scheduled and has some questions that Larry the limo driver may be able to answer. She has a Pride gogo scooter and even takes it when traveling to Las Vegas. The scooter disassembles into four pieces. Last time she had a stretch limo and it was a mistake because the scooter was all over the inside of the limo and underfoot. Was wondering if the SUV's that are advertised have a large enough cargo area to accommodate the scooter and luggage. Apparently the third seat can be folded to accommodate more cargo. Do they normally do that?
She has rented scooters in Las Vegas and in Laughlin but there is still the difficulty of getting to and from the plane. She prefers to take her own scooter as Southwest checks it at the plane and then it is available upon arrival.
Sorry I didn't reply earlier, but I just got back from a two week vacation in India. To answer your question, SUVs do have a large luggage area, and I have put a disassembled scooter in the back of my limo on more than one occasion. Of course it depends on the size of the scooter. Limos have a seatbelt like strap attached to the trunk for large amounts of luggage. Of course, if there is luggage and the scooter, I can understand why she had the issue of everything being underfoot. I believe that the two times that I took a disassembled scooter, there was no luggage. An SUV may be your best choice (and a little bit cheaper than a limo).
Thanks for your response. Price of limo and suv is about the same. will book suv.
