I meant to say the good offers on the Harrahs TR Rewards site seem to have gone away. Glad I got booked when I did!

I tried four times on my March trip and they were always over $200. Ended up doing a pre-pay with Budget for a standard car at $140.00 using a Costco code.

Yes--I called credit card company and it was charged to my card...I called rental company Thrifty gave my Blue chip number and was told go straight to the lot....I gave my conformation number and it totaled $108.24 and was told there are no more charges were due...We did this for the next two trips March and May...Don't know if offer is still available at that price or not......this thread is old and things changed better check....

They got wise to taxes and fees and these great prices are no longer available.

Just a quick report back, as promised. Everything went smooth with rental from TR Getaways. Only hitch was a 5 or 10 minute wait for a car. There was another couple in front of me also waiting. Got a Mazda 6 for a week. Total cost was $101.57, all included, no additional charges, no hassle of any kind.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback. I am so glad I booked when I heard about it on the initial board postings. I must admit it sounded to good to be true, but went with it anyways. Will be arriving May 14th - 20th.

Called today to confirm the price from TR Getaways for the rental care booked with Thrifty for Mar 29th-Apr 6th--everything is in the system. I am so glad this special was posted and that I jumped on it---ty!!!
