New flight times for Spirit Airline out of MSP

Giving a shout out to fellow Minnesotans------ Spirit Airlines has been flying out of the Humphrey terminal MSP for about a year now. Their non-stop flights to Vegas have been daily at 9:10 pm with non-stop return flights at 12:10 AM (redeye). I was checking flights for a possible fall Vegas trip and noticed that Spirit has added a non-stop departure from MSP at 10:05 AM, arriving LAS at 11:25AM. They also added a non-stop flight at 1:18 PM from LAS, arriving MSP at 6:20 PM It looks like these added flights will start sometime in September.

I know that Spirit Air has a lot to be desired, but their fares are a lot lower that what Delta and Sun Country have been offering for non-stop flights. I am seriously planning on booking some flights for late October so that I can be in Vegas for Halloween. They are offering 10% off flights until midnight tonight. Can fly roundtrip for $165 add in the baggage fee of $60 = $225 RT to Vegas....sold....booked it. CET will give me 4 comped nights at the Rio. Golden Gate will be happy to comp me for the remaining night. Game, set, match.

The new flight times are a lot more convenient especially not having to take the red-eye flight back home.

Amen. Jet Blue has done the same thing out of Boston N/S daytime flights.. 8:30 am out 12:30pm back

Yup I booked the 1pm flight about 2 months ago. Even got a free flight.
