Heading out for 5 nights during March Madness next month. Best car rental I could get was a Mid-Size SUV for $290 (after taxes) from Dollar. Had tried Priceline many times bidding between $25-32 per day for Full/Standard/Mid-Size car but never got the offer accepted.
As I randomly recheck using Kayak/Dollar/Priceline/Hotwire ... finally got a hit yesterday. With the Express Deals via Priceline, I got my full size rental for $22 per day, $190.... $100 cheaper in my pocket (or the first slot I play at Cosmopolitan). Only thing I don't necessarily love is having to go to the Hertz counter for my car, as opposed to walking downstairs and outside straight to the Dollar booth and getting my car. $100 is reason enough ... and there is always plenty of time to gamble.
