As a follow up to my original post, after 8 weeks I contacted Alamo again and got this response:
"Thank you for your feedback. I apologize this quadruple bonus mileage has still not posted to your Southwest Airlines Frequent Flyer account. I have now sent this issue to our Airline Inquiry team for investigation. This is our highest level of escalation. Please be assured I will update you with the result of the Airline Inquiry team investigation as soon as I receive it. "
A few days later they came back and said:
"Our Airline Inquiry team has advised that these bonus miles have now posted to your Southwest account. You should be able to view them now, or within the next few days, depending on system update time. We appreciate your business, and thank you for choosing Alamo. "
Over another week goes by, still no credits in my SWA account, so I contacted SWA about the problem. They called me up a few days later, confirmed all the info and said they would take care of it.
Contacted Alamo again to let them know I had complained to SWA, got the same canned response as before. Three days later the credits finally showed up in my account. I seriously doubt I would have ever gotten the credits without compaining to SWA.
