Questions about limos

I am coming to LV in November, and a couple of my friends who will be joining me for a few nights have never been. I'm thinking of renting a limo for 2-3 hours to do a Strip tour so they (and me!) can see all the lights and sights. My questions are:

1) What is the best limo company to use?

2) How long do I need a schedule a limo for, in order to make it up and down the Strip, with enough time for at least a couple of stops. (Namely, the sign and the Bellagio fountains -- what else would you recommend?)

3) About how much will this cost? I'm thinking somewhere in the range of $200, give or take a bit.

Any suggestions or tips are welcome; thanks, as always, for your advice!

For more information on this type of an excursion, you could try getting in contact with (through maybe PMing him) "lhfried" who is not only a fellow LVAer but also is a local LV Limo Driver for some help with this! Also, how about seeing the Volcano at Mirage go off at night? Plus there also is the Bellagio Conservatory as well as the Animatronics show in Caesars' Palace. And you could go up to the top of the Stratosphere Tower and/or have a drink at Level 107 Lounge on the 107th floor of the Stratosphere Tower.

And furthermore, how about also taking a drive to Downtown LV to go see the Fremont Street Experience at night to catch at least a "Viva Vison" overhead light and music show on the world's largest television screen (if not also to see any of the other entertainment that is there at night)? Information about the Fremont Street Experience is at: https://www.vegasexperience.com.

You're very welcome pattycor! I'm now thinking about some other things that you maybe should consider with your limo excursion. When you go could affect the time that you have depending on what is going on.

What I mean by this is that if you attempt this during the weekend, there could be more traffic on the Strip and possibly Downtown as well. Also maybe you should check to see if there is any major convention going on since this also could affect the traffic as well!

Bell Limousine has a "Lights and Sights" excursion which is a two and a half hour Limo tour. It includes a bottle of Champagne, stops at the Bellagio fountains, Welcome to Las Vegas sign, Freemont Street and the Mirage Volcano. The cost is $150. Of course you have the limo for the 2.5 hours, so if you want to adjust where you stop, just tell the driver.

Larry, thanks so much for the tip; I will contact Bell Limousine. This sound exactly like what I was looking for!

Hey Pattycor,

I just tracked down an ad for this (the "Lights & Sights Strip Tour") from the August 10-23, 2014 issue of Vegas2G0 magazine and the text of it says, "Lights & Sights Strip Tour -- Text Tours To 56593 -- Send the word TOURS via text to 56593 and receive a *FREE Bottle of Champagne. Best Tour and Value in Las Vegas! Spend 2.5 hours enjoying the Las Vegas attractions from the Volcano to the Downtown Fremont Street and everything in between. Get your photo at the famous Las Vegas Welcome Sign with the Las Vegas Strip as your back drop.

BELLTRANS Limousines, Sedans & Buses cpcn 1023/ Service available 24/7 (702) 385-LIMO or 800-274-RIDE

*Free Bottle of Champagne on purchase of Tour."

I hope this helps you!

Hey Pattycor,

I just found another much less costly way to do this. I pulled this in August and so it should be up-to-date I think.

GrayLine Las Vegas is offering a Strip Night Tour & Champagne Toast. It says "Experience Las Vegas $59" (but note that this $59 price reflects a 5% Discount for paying in cash). It offers:

-Photo Stop At The Las Vegas Sign

-Inside Look At The Bellagio Conservatory

- View The Amazing Fountains Of Bellagio

- Light Show At Fremont Street Experience

- Hotel Pick Up And Drop Off

- Air Conditioned Limo Coach

- Neon Lights And Bar

So maybe you should check into this.

Their website is at https://www.graylinelasvegas.com or you can call the Las Vegas phone number at 702-739-7777 or call Toll Free at 1-877-333-6556.

In addition, I think that there is a 10% discount for Gray Line Tours if you have (and tell them that you have) an Auto Club (AAA/CAA) Card -- you may have to give them your Auto Club Card Membership Number.
