My Costco membership expired last month ...haven't renewed it yet. Not sure if I am going to or not.
Both Budget and Alamo (maybe others) now require you to put your membership number in when booking your car with the Costco code. Budget accepted my newly expired account number....but Alamo did not. I suspect Budget will be taking the extra step of verifying in the not too distant future. So it looks like the days of using the code without an actual account are coming to an end.
Does anyone know of other discount codes that work about as well? I know Southwest Airlines used to have one that was just as good.
