Rental Shuttle Average Times

Arriving in Vegas around 7pm on Sept. 10th. Have show to catch @ 9pm.
I have not used a rental car in Vegas.
Does anyone have an average time it takes to catch a shuttle AND get to rental facility?
I am sure there are a lot of variables, but a general idea would be appreciated.

Within minutes of walking out of the airport, you will be on a shuttle heading to the rental facility.(Try not to check any bags.) They run continually. The facility is only about 5 minutes away. I primarily use Alamo, which has the availability of checking in on their kiosk, if the lines happen to be long....usually works very well. Good luck.

Well the facility is more than 5 minutes away, I think the recording on the bus says 8 minutes. At peak periods, you might have to wait on line for the shuttle until a couple of buses get filled ahead of you.

My experience (best case) is that I usually am just about getting to the rental car in the garage at the same time when my travelling partner has retrieved our bags from the baggage carousel. Part of that is due to travelling at off peak times, and part is being a frequent rental club member.

Like the other post says, the lines at the car rental center vary greatly at peak times. If you are in a frequent renters club or use one like alamo that has a kiosk, that helps.

I would say 2 hours is pretty safe.

When I arrived at the car rental center a couple of weeks ago I noticed that there was a line back into the building of people waiting to get on the buses for the airport. I thought that this was just a unique situation for that day; however, when I returned for my departure days later we also experienced the same back-up. Granted, it only took 5-10 minutes more, but some people who were running tight on time were getting a little nervous. Anyone know if this is now commonplace, possibly due to a cutback in personnel or the number of buses being used?
