Residential Shuttles

Help please!! Just bought a house near Boulder City and need to find some type of transportation from the airport to the house when we come in from Wisconsin. Don't need to rent a car 'cause we have one at the house. The only shuttles I can find are to hotels and the limos/sedans I've checked into are pretty expensive. Anyone have any suggestions????

There are no shuttles to Boulder City. M Resort and Green Valley Ranch have shuttles from the Airport which will put you closer to Boulder City so cab fare should be less from those properties. Depending on the location, Boulder City is a 1-1/2 to 2 hour charge for a Limo/Sedan. That would make the Sedan fare anywhere from $63 to $95.

Any neighbors that would pick you up?

Consider renting a car at the airport and turning it in the next day. You could even return it at an off-airport location closer to your new home.

I bet Budget would rent you a car at the airport for less than $40 and let you return it the next day at their location at 551 North Gibson in Henderson, for one example among many.

GVR shuttles are sketchy.......and M is farther out.

I like Larrys SEDAN idea. Because if you rented a car.........unless its One way, you'd have to drive it back and double back with your own car. there goes your cost savings.

Cab drivers drive crazy...........and You may Not know your neighbors well enough to hit them up yet? lol

Call Larry. Get a sedan & arrive in comfort.

I don't know about this but might there be a way to take the bus (CAT) out there?

budget will charge you 25 dollar fee in a one way rental so they can return the car to the airport. be carefull they will not disclose this until you return the car. we use bell trans to summerlin and the cost is about 90 using a sedan.they are now adding a fuel charge.cost is for one and half hours.

The fuel charge is an industry wide charge which is included in the fare. On February 1, it went from $3 to $4 so there will be an increase in prices of $1 per hour ride.

What about a company like Super Shuttle?

No comparable service from McCarran.

OK.

Now that I think about it, I never see companies like Super Shuttle around there.

Well, then Larry's idea sounds like the best avenue to pursue.
