They run this periodally, I always grab one or two. They don't expire. Southwest has to most non stop flights for me (to Vegas and most other places) so I usually use them.
If you have one of those "rotating quarters" credit cards where they give you 5% cash back every quarter on select retailers....frequently they have warehouse stores at some point during the year. I have Chase Freedom.
Combine that with the discounted gift card and you can score another $20 off.

FYI, after the Christmas sale which ran until a few days after Christmas, Costco stopped selling Southwest Gift cards, and since it's been two months now without them offering them, it is quite possible that they've decided to stop selling Southwest Airlines gift cards at all!
They've done that before, run their promotion and then it disappears completely until the next promotion. So hopefully it returns. I check every so often when I think of it. .

Went today, and we don't have the SW gift cards available in Riverside, CA.
Just checked online, not there. They do have 2 $50 Uber cards for $80 if you use Uber.
