Southwest is starting daily non-stop flights to/from Flint starting August 11!
We're going to be on that inaugural flight. We were originally looking at Allegiant out of Grand Rapids (we're in the Lansing area) and then we just sort of stumbled across this one.
We've flown Allegiant to LV for years, first from Lansing and then from Grand Rapids, and for this trip they started out being cheaper per segment than Southwest, but ended up about $50 more expensive overall once they got done nickel-and-diming us. Southwest's price going there has dropped twice since we booked, so I've cancelled/re-booked twice for the lower fare. Couldn't do that with Allegiant!
I think this will bury Allegiant in Grand Rapids.
