Southwest gift card question

I received a $50 Souothwest gift card during some casino promotion. It has my name printed on it. I want to give it to my sister to use so she can join me in LV mid May.

Can she use it when booking a flight online at Southwest with no problems?

I can't imagine that they actual coded the card for specific use for one exact individual. I assume the casino buys the $50 gift cards in bulk and then simply prints and personalizes the pre-loaded cards with their own front printers (The same that print your club member cards) . I could be wrong, but for the casino to reprogram the card with a specific name is much more difficult and likely, more expensive to do so.

I suspect you can transfer the card to your sister.

Call Southwest and ask. Probably is not limited. Been a while since I used a SWA gift card (bought them myself at Kroger for the gas points), and it didn't matter who bought them. The card has a code number you enter when you make the reservation.
