Southwest's NEW Rapid Rewards system, any Tips?

Out of Phoenix, frequently US Airways has lower fares. For short trips, carry on works.

I hate to resolve myself to the fact that I'll be getting fewer free flights thru SW now.

I still don't fully understand the new "points" system.........except that I need a Ton of 'em
for a free flight. sigh.

For us? SW is about..........IT.

They have the Most flights, at the best times.
But their new RR system?
