strip rental locations

Besides Dollar (MGM prop) and Hertz (Harrahs prop)...are there other rental car companies where you can pick up the car at the airport and drop off at a strip casino/hotel?

The strat has one--I think it may be Budget. Also it isn't on the strip but there is also one across from the Orleans that is a Budget.

Actually Dollar has really limited that option. On their website it will only let you return an airport facility rental at TI or Swenson st. I don't know when this changed but it really threw me.

Can those hours of operation be correct at TI?

Avis is at Belliago and several others. I am picking my car up there and returning it to the airport. I save a lot by not paying the airport fees. However, I do have to get a cab but I can delay picking up my car until I actually need it.

If you want to rent from Dollar at Swensen, they have some round about methods to avoid a taxi. You can take the shuttle to the Gilespie St. terminal, where they have their own Dollar van that will take you to Swensen. Same thing on the return. You can return the car to Swensen, they will shuttle you to Gilespie, where you can take the shuttle to the airport. I know it seems like a lot of work, but it is one way to avoid the taxi fare. Or, you can Pay $10.00 extra to return it to Gilespie.
