Anybody fly on this newer airline yet? Looks like they are based out of Minneapolis. They are going to start offering a couple routes out of Indianapolis this Spring.

There new to year but being a resident on Minnesota we've been using them for around 40 years. Low price carrier for us using 737-800's. A few years ago they went the route of most the other lines with charging you ala carte. For us up here a lot of us get there credit card which gives you a free luggage, half price seats and before COVID a free cocktail. We in MN like them as a low cost carrier to Delta. We've always had good luck with them.
Sun Country flies charters to Biloxi and Laughlin, which we have done for years. I know they also fly commercially. Planes are very nice, staff nice. All good. Just flew last week to/from Biloxi, and they were still blocking middle seats. Never had a problem with Sun Country. Nice clean planes.

PJ, I lived in Minneapolis for about two years............2016-2018. I flew Sun Country maybe 3-4 times, and twice to Vegas from Minneapolis. Best I can tell with my limited experience, they are a good ATA type airlines. They target vacation travelers, and from Minneapolis they have maybe 30 non-stop locations. Friendly, comfortable, cheap, but somewhat limited flights to their destinations. More reliable that Spirit, Frontier, or Allegient, but I can tell. I had a bunch of friends who flew them often.
