SW rapid rewards question

When you book a flight and pay with points can you rebook if the price goes lower? I've always done this when paying cash and recieved a credit for the difference in price. I was wondering if they will do the same when paying with points. Thanks!
Yes. I've rebooked our cruise flights 3 times. The points went back into my account.
Yes it's the wonderful part of flying southwest!
How do you do that? I see my March trip that I paid for with points is now 4,300 points cheaper (times two tickets).

What do I need to do? (thanks in advance!)

Go to change my reservation, pick the flights (you can choose the same ones you've already booked),click on submit the changes, and the points go back into your account. If you booked early bird, that will transfer over to your new reservation.
Ok, thanks for this!!!

I saved close to 9,000 points by re-booking the same flights. Awesome.
