taxi question

Has any one taken a taxi from the airport to fremont street if so what do the charge. I will pick up a car two days later but trying to see if I just need to get a car for the two days I dont need a car. because I will have to pay a taxi from the airport to fremont and then pay to go back to the rental cars

We just got back & the taxi was right around $40 from the airport to The Golden Nugget.

Is that one way thats where we are staying. any does and donts can you pass on

Yes, it was one way. On the way there is some road construction & there was an accident. I figured our trip back to the airport would be cheaper, but it came in right around $40 too. Ouch. I don't know what a 'long haul' to or from downtown is, so maybe we were taken the long route. Next time, I think I'll just hire the sedan thru one of the limo companies. Heck it's only $10 more each way & no waiting.

Shuttle is $16 to $20 roundtrip,per person. so for two people, a taxi is in the ballpark. Hopefully, you are not paying anywhere near $20 a day for your car so I'd just add two days on to your rental.
